Conservative Clergy of Color applauds Blackburn’s courage for slam dunk on NBA’s hypocrisy

Tampa, FL – Conservative Clergy of Color issued a statement applauding Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee for taking the NBA to task over its dealings with the Chinese Communist Party. In an interview with Breitbart, Blackburn ripped the NBA for continuing its business with Chinese-owned manufacturer Alibaba, which makes products for the NBA off of slave labor imposed on ethnic minorities like the Uighurs.

“Why do they continue to manufacture with slave labor and child labor… they’re inconsistent when it comes to transparency about what their relationships are with these companies like Alibaba because when you’re in bed with Alibaba you’re in bed with the Chinese Communist Party,” Blackburn said.

“Sen. Blackburn continues to fight the good fight against shady groups like the NBA and we at Conservative Clergy of Color fully support her,” said Bishop Shines. “Just like Nike, Apple, and other big corporations, the NBA goes out of its way to make a show of standing up to ‘oppression’ while pretending to not benefit from China’s slave labor. If they think lying to us through their teeth will and insulting our intelligence make this issue go away, they have another thing coming.”
