Bishop Aubrey Shines Condemns Divisive Indoctrination of 6-Year-Olds
Tampa, FL – Loudoun County, Virginia’s school system has caved to the demands of the Left-wing mob and is incorporating “social justice” into its curriculum, beginning with Kindergartners. According to a report published this morning, Loudoun County will achieve this by partnering with Teaching Tolerance, the education arm of the intolerant leftist Southern Poverty Law Center, a group that delights in accusing anyone who disagrees with them of being racist.
In order to appease the mob, the SPLC brand of social justice will now be taught to five and six-year-olds. It’s even more ridiculous because, as one anonymous Loudon teacher pointed out, the history of slavery is already taught beginning in the fourth grade, while earlier years are spent learning about great Americans such as Martin Luther King, Jr.
“To force such an asinine, narrow view of ‘social justice’ onto children so young is absolutely abhorrent,” said Bishop Aubrey Shines. Bishop Shines is chairman of Conservative Clergy of Color, a new nonprofit dedicated to teaching people about great African Americans who overcame discrimination and made society better through their achievements rather than burning the country down.
“These young people need to be learning about Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, the Tuskegee Airman, and other American heroes. These are people who made the country a better place because of their character. That’s the lesson we need to impart,” said Bishop Shines. “Instead, the youth of Loudoun County are getting trained up to be foot soldiers for the Black Lives Matter movement.”
